Notebook / Sketchbook / Diary / Journal part I ( COVER )

   This is the first part from  " How to make a notebook/sketchbook/diary/journal "  tutorial. Here you can find out how to make  a unique cover for your project.

Materials :

• scissors
• paper glue and superglue 
• hard cardboard
• decorative cardboard or wapping paper 
• ruler
• pen

1.   First of all you have to decide on size of your pages. I used  A6 paper size  with 14.8 cm length and 10.5 width.

2.  Measure the paper length and width ,  add 1 cm each side  , and draw a sketch on the back of your cardboard.When you are done , cut it so you will get 2 covers for your notebook.

3.  Now you can do exactly the same ( add 1 cm each side on your cover dimensions )  to obtain a decorative cardboard for each cover.

4. Place the cardboard in the center of your decorative one and fold each side.

5.Cut the corners ( the square made from folding ) 

6. Add some glue on the back of your cover and solder it to the decorative cardboard. Use the superglue on the margins that you have just fold and stick them to the cover.

Your cover is done !
