11 O` clock Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake













I found this recipe in a book i bought around 6 years ago, the "11 o`clock Chocolate Cake" by Caroline Pitcher. You can`t go wrong with this recipe, it`s one of the most easiest cake recipe i ever made .
 Also ... the most important fact.... it`s D E L I C I O U S !



INGREDIENTS :

  • 110 g white flour
  • 110 g sugar 
  • 110 g butter/ margarine
  • baking powder
  • cocoa powder
  • chocolate for melting






 Put  all the ingredients  ( except the chocolate ) in a bowl, and mix the composition with a kitchen mixer.





** If you like the cocoa taste or you  want the batter to be darker use more cocoa powder.





Grease a pan with butter/ margarine , put the mixture into the pan, then into the oven for 30 minutes at 150 C or less. 

 

  ** usually it can grow much more than that , but i ran out of baking powder and i used baking soda with lemon.





Now you have to let it cool, and in the meanwhile melt the chocolate. I melt the chocolate with baine marine ( hot water bath)  or  i saw here that it can be melted in microwave.

Cover the cake with the melted chocolate and serve !  






















** Tastes better with a glass of milk !

    1. I used a sachet, i guess it is about 10 g of baking powder ... hope i didn`t answer to late
